What does the Bible say about Eternal Life?

Updated: Sep 10, 2022

I am sorry to break it to you like this from the start pal.

Not everyone will access Eternal Life. Jonh 6:37 “ All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”

Some people will tell you " I tried Jesus, but it didn't work" No, my friend, you tried religion and search for an emotional experience. Clearly, anyone who truly belongs to Jesus, Jesus will never drive away.

Those the Father gives me, meaning the Elects, are subject to Eternal Life. Not all will be saved, only those God has chosen. There is nothing you can do about it. That ties down to God's Sovereignty.

Eternal Life doesn't Start after you die.

Eternal Life doesn't end after you die.

Very confusing statements! "Eternal" means without end, forever.

Eternal Life is a life with no end. If Jesus is Eternal life and you receive Him, you have Eternal Life now. What happens when you die in this life? Is the trip over? Absolutely not! it's Eternal! You get to come back on the last day Jesus will raise you up to live forever. It's like going to nap and then waking up to glorious life. John 6:40. “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Verse 44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

No one comes to Jesus if God Himself did not approve and drew them near. If you are grateful to be apart, count it all joy. Not all of us are chosen, not all of us are called and not all of us will be Saved. He who created us, has supreme authority over His all creation and some of us are created to be the subject of His Wrath,( Pharaoh, Goliath, Amalekites ect...) if it was not for darkness, Light would not feel so Good. Without Pain, Joy would be taken for granted.

(John 6:57-66) many people desert Jesus, they were only following His hand and his miracles, they were here for the rewards, and they did not understand what Jesus was telling them was figurative. So they left, how many of us stop the gospel work when our faith is challenged? When our behavior is questioned? It may be why God does not choose everyone. Eternal Life comes with the price of dying to yourself in this temporary Life.

that is just one aspect of Eternal Life. It also comes with authority, power, healing, and then some. Follow this blog for more on this subject and other daring questions.
